Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at the signing ceremony of a cooperation memorandum between Hazrat Masoumeh University (SA) and the Knowledge-Based Plasma Technology Development Company in Qom, Eslami underlined that Iran’s nuclear achievements are increasingly being applied in vital civilian sectors, including health and the environment.
He described the agreement as “the beginning of the practical use of indigenous nuclear technologies in improving public welfare,” announcing that a specialized nuclear-based wound treatment clinic will soon be launched in one of Qom’s hospitals.
Addressing Qom’s ongoing water challenges, Eslami said wastewater treatment and water recovery are among the province’s urgent priorities, adding that nuclear technology will play a decisive role in these areas. “The impact of these innovations will soon be visible in agriculture and farming,” he noted.
The AEOI chief also pointed to hostile efforts aimed at halting Iran’s nuclear progress, stressing: “Even our adversaries acknowledge that Islamic Iran today possesses an advanced level of nuclear science and technology and stands among the world’s top ten countries in this field.”
Eslami emphasized that this achievement serves as “a driving force for national strength and authority” in areas such as healthcare, environmental protection, and industry. He further noted that Iran now ranks second or third globally in the production of radiopharmaceuticals, underscoring the country’s growing role in nuclear medicine and scientific innovation.
